George,
If you don't have any luck in Cheshire finding the marriage, do try Lancashire. As well as the wife giving her p.o.b. as Liverpool, many watermen from Cheshire married in the large Churches near the docks. e.g. St Peter's and St Nicholas.

Hi there

I'm afraid I don't have a lot to go on but I'm looking for the marriage of William Turner to Ellen ?????.

William was born in Staffordshire but Ellen was born in Wilmslow/Bollin Fee and this is where they lived all their married life and where the children were baptised so I'm hoping this is where they would have married as well.

I imagine they would have married sometime between 1805 and 1815.

Thanks

Lou

Hi Lou,
I've just found this on the IGI.
William Turner married Ellen Reddish at Prestbury,Cheshire, on 7th May 1805.
Could it be the one you're looking for.
Regards,
Pat.
