Hi Cheshire Researchers

Today, I was given the following CD:

Cheshire Parish Records by S & N Genealogy Supplies

The CD allows you to browse, search and print Marriage Registers for all 5 volumes of W.P.W Phillimores Cheshire Parish Record Transcripts.

The dates covered are 17th and 18th Century

If you require me to look through these records for an ancestor of yours, please supply as much information as possible; and I will try to oblige

Chris in 1066Land

Hi Jools

           Welcome to rootschat.

Unfortunatly my indexes are for marriages only, and there is nothing showin up in the IGI for a Roger Marsland. I could look in the 1841 census to try and find him with his family, I see that he married a Jane Hall in 1848 can you tell me where they lived and what other info do you have, like where children born and other census info.

Hi Peter, What a lovely quick response.
In 1851 roger was living in Stamford Street ashton under lyne (st Peters) he had children John Marsland 1849 and Louisa 1850, Maria 1853. Roger died in 1858. Roger was a Landsurveyor and i have looked up Trades description in case he had his own business, nothing there, although on Rogers marriage cert his father was a Gentleman, occupation (Draper).
thats all the info i have thanks Julie.
