Have found my Ridgway's I asked you about earlier in week, at Stockport library ,have got back another generation. Can I ask you if you have a marrage for a Thomas Ridgway and a Martha in Stockport he died in 1788 had a child , David in 1781 . He was a Beadle.

Thos RIDGWAY, beadle, m Martha WOOD, sp 7 Dec 1773 at Stockport - doesn't look to be too much doubt about that one!

Nothing showing for this marriage.  Lancashire OPC are putting the Warrington St Elphin records online, but haven't got to the year you are looking for yet - worth checking back as they are updated regularly: http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Warrington/index.html

That was a bit deja vu - I have come on here to ask if there is a marriage for John Ridgway and Jane/Jenny Burges(s) their 1st child was born in 1807, and the previous reply was about Thomas Ridgway - don't think he's mine although my gt grandfather was a Thomas !!! My ridgways lived(at that time) in Bredbury or Compstall.

There are a couple of RIDGWAY requests if you scroll back.  This is the closest match I can see, nothing for surname BURGESS (unless it is her maiden name):

Added: Can't see a corresponding marriage for LAVINGSTONE (or LIVINGSTONE as the best alternative I could think of) to a Jane BURGESS.
