Hi Jean

I'm throwing my net a little wider for some of my Salford connections:

Thomas Delves to Margaret ??
probably about 1800 - 1805

They have a daughter baptised at a non-conformist chapel in Salford in 1803 but I can't see anything for them before then in the non-conformist records or in Lancashire & as he was a gardener / "agriculter" he presumably came from somewhere with fields  ;D

Many thanks

Hi Chris
would be gratefull if you could look up marriage between William Clarke b 1820-1821 Bridgemere and a lass named Hannah b 1820-1821 Hatherton first child born 1837 so they would obviously of neede permision as they were not of age and would assume both being born in Nantwich would of taken place there.

thanks john

Hi John,

William CLARKE m Hannah LOCKETT 29 Dec 1836 at Wybunbury.  You can see the full details of the marriage here: http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/

Both Bridgemere and Hatherton would have come under the parish of Wybunbury.

Many thanks Jean  ;D

I like this now I have it as there was an unexplained "Arrowsmith" middle name for a grandson down the line.

More Cheshire connections than I had thought then!

Regards

Hi Jean

Would it be possible for you to have a look for a marriage between Ann Barrow (a widow) to a gentleman with the surname of Scot sometime after 1798?

Many thanks

Jayson  :)

Blimey Jayson, where do you find them?  Nothing on the indexes, the only one I can see is on the IGI in 1819 to Frances Scott in Bedminster, Somerset......

Any more clues?

Jean

PS. Had another look around on the LDS Pilot site, there is a marriage for Hannah Kelsall BARROW to Samuel SCOTT in 1831 at Wilmslow - is this too late?

Hi Chris
Could you see if you could find a marriage for a George Critchley - he was born bet 1794-1801 in Nantwich. I feel the marriage may have been in the Macclesfield area as he had one son with this wife named Thomas Critchley b 1821 Macclesfield. So around 1820 I feel may be around the right date.
Thanks very much Jo ;D
Critchley in  Ardwick, Gorton areas 1920's
Keenan in Dukinfield 1827-date
Neal living in West Derby area 1919
