Cheshire Parish Records Marriages only pre 1837

Hi Chris,
I have a marriage for Abigail Lewis and Owen Lea, 01 Dec 1664, Acton by Nantwich, Cheshire. I think her father is Phillip Lewis but cannot find a birth record. Is it possible for you to find a marriage of Phillip Lewis(Lewes). I am afraid I do not have mothers name.

hi jean....just for the record..could you please explain this to me...there is a LEWIS ZZZZ Female babtised 6th march 1634.....does this mean they hadn`t yet chosen a name or is there another explanation....this is on CPRdb parish record for lewis( i am also researching lewis)...thanks...allan

hi jean..i suppose this time of year when everyones on a` break` you`re mad busy...when you have time,could you check for Joseph Allcock`s marriage to Martha Coxon ,both born in stockport.their 1st born was in 1835, so i would imagine they married about 1833..joseph was b 1810 and martha in 1805...thanks very much ...allan

The marriage is on the index for 24 August 1834 at Witton, the only extra information from the index is that they were both 19+
