Hi Peter, Thanks so much for that, I think it might have been a bit early for my John though as he was born in 1809/1810. He could have got married in Staffordshire I suppose as that was where his second marriage took place before they moved back to Cheshire again but so far I haven't been able to find a marriage for him there.

Thanks again anyway

Hello

I've just found these entries and wonder if I could ask if anyone can see a marriage for:

Joseph Weedall to Elizabeth (unknown surname)

Joseph a shipwright born c1780, first child possibly born 1811. Spouse Elizabeth born Northwich.

Many thanks
Linda

I am looking for a marriage in Ashton-Under-Lyne, but am not sure if that is classed as Cheshire or Lancashire ?

The name is Henry Chorlton born c1788, and Ann ?
Henry and Ann's first child was born in 1813, so I assume the marriage is between 1805 and 1813.

Henrys parents are George & Betty Chorlton, but I don't know where they were married, or born.

Thanks

Hi
Sorry, but there are no marriages in any of the Cheshire Indexes, proberbly best to try Lancashire.
