Hi, please can anybody check for any marriages of a Betty/Elizabeth Mullins (or any variations) in Macclesfield/Wildboarclough in about the 1830's, have checked the BMD's with so far no success.

Many Thanks

Hi Anna

There is no marriage listed for an Eliz/Betty at all, there is one for a John Mullins dyer of Wildboarclough to Ann Hunt of Wildboarclough dated 5/February/1810 at Prestbury (right parish for WBC township)

Hi Mike

There is nothing definate entry in the indexes pre 1800 for your Shaws, apart from the ones you already know about, not all entries have the township where they came from, so plenty of Shaws listed but no Soloman, and no way of knowing where the others were living.

sorry not much help I know.

Hi

Cant find any exact matches for Bayley, there is this for an Anne Puleston widow 1737 to John Puleston son of John at St Edith Shocklach by licence. Its the only Anne indexed.

Hi Peter, Thanks so much for looking for me anyway, I suppose there might be a chance that elizabeth (betty) could have been married just over the border in Staffordshire, what do you think about this please?, would be very grateful for your opinion or anybodyelse's. John and Martha also only have one kid baptised in the Macclesfield St Michael Registers so maybe they could have been from elsewhere as well.

Thanks again
