Hi Peter  ;D

can you do a couple of look-ups for me please?

1.  William HANCOCK (b.abt 1777 Chester) and Mary JOHNSON (b. 27/10/1781 Weaverham), 1802 or earlier at Weaverham.

2.  Benjamin JOHNSON (b.abt 1766 Weaverham) and Nancy (no other details) 1791 or earlier at Weaverham or Little Leigh.

These are all my 4th great-grandparents.  Anything you can uncover would be very much appreciated indeed.

BTW I think this is a very generous service you are giving of your own personal time to help others.  It's really appreciated.

Cheers,
Garry

Hi Garry,

Wm HANCOCK married Mary JOHNSON 7 Sep 1802 at Runcorn, both of Norton, Parish of Runcorn

Nothing for Benjamin although there is this later marriage that might be connected:
Benjamin JOHNSON m Betty GIBSON 18 Feb 1820 at Weaverham

Hi

Sorry but cannot see anything for them in the Cheshire Indexes.

Just looked in the 1841 census and there seems to be another child (Martha 4) as well as Thomas 2

HO107 90-39-F10-P14  Waverton

John Walker 65 farmer           all born in county
Martha ~ 65
Richard ~ 20 ag lab
Sarah   ~ 25
Martha ~ 4
Thomas~ 2
Phebe Hughes 10 female servant

This Martha in 1851 is a servant girl at a farm in Ashton Tarvin Grt Boughton.

Hopefully this is the same family as you are looking at, it is possible that they could have married in one of the Chester Churches, which have a lot of gaps in the marriage register.

Hi,

I'd be grateful if you could look for the marriage of

THOMAS LLEWELLIN (Lewelling etc) and SARAH

probably somewhere near Cuddington, Malpas about 1738-48.

They has a child - Elizabeth - in 1748 baptised in Malpas. In the records, Sarah is described as from Cuddington.

As far as I can tell, the rest of their children were all baptised in nearby Whitchurch, Shropshire which was where Thomas was from.

Thanks,
Jill

HELP!!!

 BATHSHEBA BOOTHROYD bn c. 1802 W. Yorks.

Baptism nowhere to be found. Possibly in a nonconformist church near ALMONDBURY or HUDDERSFIELD.
