Cheshire Parish Records Marriages only pre 1837

Hi

    Anyone in particular, most of the Marple marriages are indexed under the Stockport parish of St Mary, and there are lots of Grahams, but the index does not seperate where the couples came from.

thanks for the reply...  I have just started working on my Graham line, but what I have found so far, they were all born in Yorkshire and then moved to marple, so I think that most of them married in Yks.   but one that may have married there is a William Graham born 1810 whose wife is named Eliza born 1816 in Marple. Have found them onthe 1851 census.

thank you for telling me where to look for marriages.  The next generation of children were born in Marple so now know where to look for marriages.

           Sorry nothing showing up in the marriage indexes, and I don't have acsess to the birth registers.

           How sure are you of the birth date ? is it accurate. If so you may be able to get a birth search done at the Cheshire RO ( a couple of years either side is not usually charged for) there is a email contact address below.

          The only Burslem marriage I can find at Astbury around that date is dated 02/May/1705 William Burslem and Jane Phythian.

The birthdate is the middle one of four I have for a Jane, I will try Cheshire.

This is a long shot but can you possibly find the marriage of Thomas Lawrinson (various spellings, sorry) born around 1796 Tarporley and Rebecca (surname unknown, sorry) born about 1791 possibly Tarporley.

Marriage year unknown, sorry .... unhelpful wild guess ... 1820 ish? They have a child in 1825 but there may be others before that date.

Sorry about the lack of information ... you can tell me to go away and come back when I have more facts if you want to - I will understand.
