Hi

The only one that looks as though it may fit is dated 15/May/1826 at Prestbury to a Ann Barber of Marton (nr Congleton/ William Hackney bat of Macclesfield.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have just spotted you very kind offer of Cheshire Look-ups.  Can I be cheeky please and ask you to check something for me.

My maternal ancestors were from the HARDY's of Thurstaston and Heswall, Cheshire and I've managed to trace them back to Daniel HARDY b. 1770 Heswall married to Mary DAVIES b. 1770 Heswall in 1790 @ Heswall Parish Church St Peters.

I have Mary Davies' parents but can't go any further back with Daniel HARDY who was my g.g.g.g.grandfather.

Also, am trying to find the wedding date of

Hugh WILLIAMS b. 1722 Heswall and Mary (surname unknown) b. 1726 Heswall..  They were my 6x g.grandparents.

I have their names (obviously, as above) and their children's names, but no surname for Mary, no Wedding Details and no parents for either of them.

I would be grateful for any help.

Hi

   Welcome to Rootschat  :)

Most of the Wirral parishes have been transcribed and can be found online at http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/ it isn't the easiest site to use but well worth persevering, if you have any trouble please get back to us and we will try to help.

I did find the following.

1/August/1768 baptism at West Kirby Daniel Hardy father William mother Mary, said to be living in the township of Little Meols

22/August/1767 Marriage at West Kirby William Hardy/Mary Jones witnesses, Joseph Jones and John Brown, again living at Little Meols.

The marriage of Hugh Williams and Mary Longley was dated 8/Sept/1747 at St Nicholas Liverpool.
Liverpool was a favourite venue for Wirral folk.
This record was found in the IGI at http://www.rootschat.com/links/0bq/

hope this helps

Do you have the marriage records for the area of Marple Cheshire?  As I am looking for the surname Graham?

Cheers
