I'd be most grateful if you could find these 2 marriages for me:

Joel Pownall and Elizabeth Johnson - first known child born Hazel Grove 1829.

James Johnson and Mary Ann - first known child born Hazel Grove c1835.

(IGI has James Johnson m. Mary Ann Bridge at Cheadle, 1831, which is a possibility - would like to know if there are any others!)

Many thanks!

Hi MR

Joel Pownall and Elizabeth Johnson at Cheadle dated 19/Jan/1828.

The only Mary Ann marring a James Johnson is the one you already have, there are a few JJ to Mary's but none in the right time frame.

Hi Chris,

Sincerely hope you can help - I am seeking marriages for the name CURZON (Curson, Courson, Courzon) in Cheshire.  Most likely in the St Chads Over area, or possibly Wharton.

In particular I am looking for a marriage of Owen (or Awen) Curzon to a Nancy or Ann pre 1820 - their first child was baptised in St Chads over in May 1820.

Many many thanks - here's hoping!!

Regards
Kylie

Hi

There is a marriage indexed at Audlem St James dated 2/Jan/1780 William Turner and Mary Trickett

The index definatly spells the name that way, there are quite a lot of Trickett marriages in the Audlem/Wybunbury area.

regards
