Hi,
Would someone kindly do a marriage lookup for the following -
John Nield/Neild, born about 1812 Chester - a tailor to Harriett Collier,born about 1814/16 Chester. They possibly married between 1830 - 1841.

Also,
Was Charles Boulton/Bolton,born 1803/04 Chester,a cabinet maker, previously married  prior to his 1841 Liverpool marriage to Margaret Higham?
According to the 1851 census, there is an Elizabeth Boulton, 18 yrs. old, born Liverpool living in his household. Is she a daughter from a prior marriage or a relative?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

would it be possible for someone to look up a possible marriage in Cheshire?

My ancestor Richard Challenor was a potseller, dealer, hawker who travelled widely mainly in Cheshire. Congleton, Furness Vale, Macclesfield, Hyde etc.

When he married in Stockport in 1852 he was a widower but I dont know who or where he married previously.

If anyone could look up a Richard Challenor from about 1839 I would be very grateful. I know its a long shot but have no census data for him in 1841. His travelling lifestyle has made him difficult to track down.

Regards

Jean Rule

Hi Nancy

The index I have shows a marriage at St Marys Chester dated 15/June/1835 John Nield a tailor and Harriet Conyers, it looks as if the name was difficult to read and someone had a guess (Collyer)

Nothing for Charles Bolton

There is a marriage on the CheshireBMD ( http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk)

Hi,

yes this is Richards second marriage. He stated he was a widower but I can't find his first one.

Many thanks

Jean
