Hi

Would it be possible to do a couple of marriages searches please?

first is a marriage of William PICKERING to Esther STOCKTON around 1768, not sure where exactly in Cheshire (sorry)

and the second marriage (again im not sure whether this would have taken place in Cheshire or Lancashire)

Marriage of John BRYAN to Ann ??? around 1824. Ann was born in Liverpool so i suppose its possible they could have married there instead?
John and Ann later lived in the village of NEss, Cheshire

Any help most appreciated
thanks Jen :)

Hi,

would it be possible for someone to do a marriage search for me?

I'm not sure if Cheshire is the correct place but somewhere about 1846 an Edward Holt married a Helen, hopefully in the Stockport area. Helen and  daughters Sarah Ann and Alice were born in Stockport.  Helen abt 1826, Sarah Ann 1846 and Alice 1848.

The family appear in the 1851 census in Haughs Attic Heaton Norris so it could be Lancashire I need to look.

If anyone could find a marriage for Edward and Helen or baptism for Sarah Ann or Alice I would be very grateful.

Regards

Jean Sandra

Hi Jen

There is a record indexed for William Pickering and Esther Stockton at St Mary's Gt Budworth Cheshire 12/8/1766.

Sorry can't find anything for a John Bryan, have you tried the IGI for Lancashire http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/

good luck

Hi again,

would it be possible for a search to be made for a possible marriage about 1800-1811 of a Robert Eccles and his wife Betty.

Betty was born in Stockport according to the 1851 census and all I know of Robert Eccles is that he was born in Cheshire according to the 1841 census.

The couple could have married Stockport but were living in Poynton about 1811, where their youngest son John was born.

The marriage could have been Poynton or Prestbury which was the parish church or alternatively in Stockport where Betty was born.

Similarly I don't have baptisms for their children John (1811), Solomon (1819), Martha (1812 -1816), Merodoch (1823), Hezekiah (1827), Sarah 1827. They were all born in Poynton.

Robert Eccles was a schoolmaster in 1841.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Regards

Jean Sandra

Hi Chris,

I wonder if you can help me trace a marriage in Chester possibly before 1775 as their daughter Sarah was christened that year at St. Oswalds Church. The marriage is between Anderson Davies and unfortunately I cannot find out who he married. A Will of Sarah's husband in 1804 just calls her E. Davies! The IGI only gives the name of Sarah's father.

Would be extremely grateful, as it is a total brick wall at the moment.
Thanks

Janice
