Thank you Peter, only 12 years before she was born so well worth keeping on file, at least its in the right place, pity I couldn't find them in the 1851 census though  ???

I am looking for the marriage of John Holt to Ann. They had a son baptised at St Bartholomew's Ch. Wilmslow in 1807 & church register says they were of Handforth, Wilmslow. Nothing else known except son George was in Wilmslow 1841 & died there 1880.

Hi,
Could you help me again please?
I am looking for info on Thomas Clowes born 1787 married sarah rigby in 1812.
I have them in the 1851 census and it would be nice to see the entry for 1841.

Also, James Clowes - father of William Clowes. William was born 1814.
There are 2 possibles for James in the 1861 - 1787 siddington and 1787 bosley.

    Can you give me the full details of the 1851 census you have for Thomas Clowes 1787.

    The 1841 census is not name indexed, which means I need to find then in 51 and then search the same area in 1841.

    The James and Jane you found in the 1861 are not indexed in 1851, nor are they in Siddington in 1841.

l wonder if either of you could possibly find the marriage of John Tipping to a Mariah ? possibly Knutsford.
John was born 1811 and their first child was born 1841 in Liverpool.
Sorry this is sketchy but it's all the info l have on him in Cheshire.

          Sorry there is nothing for a John and Mariah showing up in any of the Cheshire indexes.
            I see from the 1861 census that Mariah was from Rochdale, maybe thats another place to look.
