On the Cheshire genealogy mailing list, a KS has looked up and posted some  burial records  from Gt Budworth. Try a search(google?) with the following words:

St Mary and All Saints Gt Budworth.Cheshire

This is also a fascinating link: http://www.usigs.org/library/books/uk/Cheshire1909/00PageImages/
Boyle, Co. Leitrim  Boyle, Co. Tyrone, Shaughnessy, Co. Limerick, and  Manchester, UK.  Pope, Cheshire. Chadwick, Speke, Lancs.  Frankish, Hunmanby, Yorks.  Brindley, Audley, Staffs and  Middlesex.

Hi Peter

;D Re the illusive Samuel Harrison.

I just could not find him at first as you know.

So looked for his father George instead.

First thing to be found was at St Mary the Virgin Runcorn

John son of George and Mary Harrison of Norton Labourer baptised 5th May 1827 still no Samuel but this is the only glimps of George Harrison so press on.

Next to be found was
George Harrison and Mary Taylor married at St Elphins Warrington  / could this be them?

Names same as the baptism for John.

Then 1851 census for Runcorn gave

Mary Harrison wife 52  Cheshire Arley
SAMUEL HARRISON son 21 Waterman Runcorn
Ann Harrison Dau 18 Dressmaker  Runcorn
James Harrison son 8 scholar.

Dont know where George or son John were so to make sure this was the right family sent for the bc for James Harrison.

Sure enough  father was George and mother was Mary Taylor.

Maybe Samuels baptism was not recorded?? Maybe he was baptised later?? But at least I am on the trail of the family now.

Phewww.

Just need to find where George was born now and get tracking on that one.

regards ;D

hi peter
i saw your thread about the 18th century parish records and was wondering if you could find any of the Bowler family from Marple, cheshire.  the parish would seem to be Stockport, St Mary's or Marple, All Saints.
My earliest relative (so far) is my g-g-grandfather Charles Bowler b.1800 in Marple.  ive found a few Bowlers from the area on the lds site but cannot tie charles in with them yet
Charles married a margaret Bennett c1823 before moving to Oswaldtwistle in Lancs.
Any info about any Bowler would be useful if not now then maybe in the future when i can maybe put the pieces together
thanks

hi peter
ive just realised - if you are related to margaret bennett b1803 in hazle grove, cheshire that would make us very distant cousins and you could add my tree to yours!

Dear Chris

It looks as though you are busy, but I hope you have time to help me.

Matthew Boothby born about 1818, he says Bollington., father Joseph.  Matthew was married in 1845 Newcastle upon Tyne.  I don't know how soon after his birth he moved e.g. with his mother and father or on his own.

My search for any more details in Cheshire have drawn a blank.  Hope you can help.

Jean

Hi Jean
Can you tell me what sourses you have searched in Cheshire, the only thing I could maybe help with is to search for him in 1841 census, if you havn't already done so. Let me know. Also can you tell me his childrens names this may help identfy possible relatives.

Hi
    Its me not Chris,
I think with this request you will have to purchase the certificates in order to obtain the full information, most parish records if they have been published are an index only and stop round about 1837 when the cival registration came in.
You may have some luck if you try the records office as they have the originals but may make a charge, its worth an email though you never no your luck. Thier address is on this link
