Hi,

I am trying to find the Maiden name of my GGGG Grandfather's wife, and also hopefully his fathers  first name so I can try and take the line back even further.

He was called Thomas Davenport, Born in Haughton Moss, Bunbury, Cheshire abt 1801. His wife was Mary.

I have included an image of the 1841 census showing their family and also a descendants chart that may offer a little more information.

Many thanks for offer, regardless of whether or not it bears fruit.

M Davenport.

Hi M Davenport,

I assume that you mean the marriage of James DAVENPORT to Mary from the information you have provided.  This looks to be the closest match based on the fact that the ages are rounded down in the 1841 census:

James DAVENPORT m Mary GROWCOTE 29 Dec 1818 at Bunbury St Boniface

Jean

PS.  I have removed the 1841 census image as it is a breach of copyright.....see this link for more information: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,104159.0.html

Hello

I wonder if you could take a look for a marriage of a James Dooley (b. abt 1799) to a Mary Ann Jennett (b. abt 1814). I think it may have been a second marriage for James but I'm not sure  :-\

Thank you very much.

JDGen,

Many thanks for finding a possible James & Mary for me.

Also, apologies for the infringement - a slip that wont happen again.

Regards,

M Davenport
