hi can you help with a marriage for robert griffiths and mary young it could poss be 3 feb 1812 in tarvin cheshire  parents names or any other details would help me go back further regards carolynb

Hi carolynb,

The information is from an index so won't contain much more information.

Robert GRIFFIES m Mary YOUNG 3 Feb 1812 at Tarvin by licence

As you have the exact date you can order a copy of the parish register entry from Cheshire Records office online for a small fee - it might also be worth getting a copy of the marriage licence.  But neither are guaranteed to have parents names.

Hello

I'm hoping you can kindly look this up for me!  :)

I'm interested in the marriage of William Hughes and Charlotte b.abt 1801 (i think her maiden name was Thomas) both are from Chester as far as I know. I think they were married in 1819.

I am interested in any details of their age's, occupation, address etc. I'm also particularly interested in their parent's details (if there are any) as I want to continue my family tree.

Their children were James Hughes b.abt 1821 Emma Hughes b.abt 1829 George Hughes b.abt 1830

Hopefully you'll be able to find something for me.

Thanks, Gareth  :)

Yeah, thats really interesting, thanks Iria.

I'm now wondering if Harriett Thomas is maybe Charlotte's sister, not sure about Thos (presumalby short for Thomas) Jones.

Fascinating, thanks!

Gareth  ;D

Hi, hope you can help with 2 marriages in the West Kirby/Caldy area of the Wirral.

John Prenton to Jane Johnson around 1720 and John's father John Prenton which I presume would be around 1680/90.

They are not on the Cheshire Parish Register project or IGI so here's hoping!

Many thanks,

June
