Hi,

I'm hoping those with Cheshire records might be able to find Peter Booth who was born in Appleton around 1812.

I have located them on the 1841 living in Bootle:

1841 census Bootle ref 0024 06 519/01

Peter 26 joiner, not in county
Ann 25 "
Edwin 2, born in county
Frederick 3mths "
 plus
Mary 13 "
Sarah 40 "
Thomas 20, joiner "
Thomas 45 , glass cutter "

I don't know what relation the last four names are to Peter booth but they all appear to be Booth and say they were born in Lancashire.

Peter's wife, Ann, is from Grappenhall.

I'd like to find any info on Peter booth and the marriage of Peter and Ann, which I am presuming was in Cheshire.  I suppose their marriage could have been just after 1837 and might well be registered but as I say, I would appreciate any information anybody is kind enough to give me.

Many thanks,

Barrington - Liverpool/London - Ireland
Fyfe, Lindsay - Scotland
Gray, Parry, Jones - Caernarfonshire, Wales
Plimmer, Davis, Stone, Keeling, Sheldon, Holmes - Derbyshire
Nelson, Hilton, Cowley, Rimmer, Birch, Kershaw, Cryer, Brookfield, Howard, Abram, Latham - Lancashire
Kinsey, Booth - Cheshire
Birch and travellers - Staffordshire
Taylor, Warr - Oxfordshire
Beurle, Bailey - Kent
...up to now!

I am looking for a John Holt married to Ann.  They had a son born in 1806 baptised at St Bartholomews Wilmslow.  So far I have been unable to find a marriage.  Could you look up their marriage, possibilities are Stockport, Cheadle St Thomas, Wilmslow & anywhere else in that area.
Many thanks gillbill.
