Just doing a little more searching on that, and found that John Roberts & Frances Hopley baptised 4 children in Liverpool between 1802 & 1811 (and possibly later, but no maiden name listed on others). As I have Neston listed as the birthplace of 4 children of my couple in 1804, 1809, 1812 & 1815 (the last being listed in the church records, the others from census returns), it seems unlikely that mine are from the Roberts/Hopley marriage.

Hi Paul,

I'm sorry, I can't do blanket searches for a specific surname - can you let me know who you are looking for and a rough idea of the date?  The Bromborough Parish Records are online here along with other Wirral parishes:

http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/

Hope this helps,

Jean

Hi Jean

Could you possibly have a look on your index for a marriage of a
-- --Mollard to Martha Goodier I think it will be in the area of Wilmslow around the years 1770 /1775.

Thank You,
Pat.

Hi Allan,

Sorry, but neither marriage is on the index.  If you check the Neston PR's on http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/ the Edward Standish marriage is there.  As both the BT's and the PR's are transcribed you could check one against the other.  But best to send off to Cheshire Records Office for a photocpy of the PR entry which you can order online for a small fee.

Jean,

That's brilliant,
I've just received Martha's will from Cheshire Records and amongst a lot of other things it gave me not only her maiden name but her fathers name too. Thanks to you I now have her husband's christian name and lots more material to work with.
A great big thank you,

Regards,
Pat.
