Does your marriage source have marriages for four of my OSBALDISTON ancestors.  This name variously appears as OSBERSON, OSBORNSON, OSBERESON, ETC.,  have you a Robert marrying a Margaret circa 1735, RAPHE marrying Margaret circa 1729, Thomas marrying an Anna circa 1773 and Raphe marrying Mary circa 1798 please?

Would be grateful if you could look up a Joseph Worrall for me. Unfortunately that is all I have, other then his son Peter Worrall was born about 1819-23c in Kingsley, Cheshire. So my Joseph is probably from that area also.

Hi Sigrid,

There are a couple of indexes to marriages for the Cheshire area that have been published on CD by the Cheshire Family History Society.   They are an index only so don't give the full details of the parish register entry but do give the date and the church so that you know where to look and sometimes a little more information than IGI.  The info for the marriage your are looking for shows:

Thos MELLOR, Husbmn P. Cop m Mary ASHLEY Sp. 30 Apr 1770 at Middlewich.

I suspect that Thomas was from another parish (maybe Coppenhall?). 

You could contact Cheshire Records Office for the details of the entry, or order a photocopy for a small fee, their website is: http://www.cheshire.gov.uk/recoff/home.htm
