Hi - I'm looking for the marriage of George Steen & Jane Taylor somewhere in Birkenhead around 1830. Any info gratefully received!

I am trying to find the marriage of William Houlding to Elizabeth about 1755 to 1783, possibly at Wybunbury.
They lived at Gorsty Hill after marriage which is in the parish of Wybunbury - but it is also close to Barthomley and even closer to Betley which is in Staffs.

I am trying to find the marriage of William Small. Unfortunately I don't have any name at all for his wife, but his known children were Mary Sophia Small (1834-1896), Eliza Small (1848-?), Elizabeth Small (1842-?)and Martha Louisa Small (1844-?) Sophia figures as a middle name a few times in the family, so maybe there is a clue in those names as this family seemed to stick to the name the kids after the parents etc like most other families!
The family is associated with the Cheadle area of Cheshire.

No marriage on the indexes (but they are not complete), do you know where the first child was born or have any census information for the family?

Hi, all I know is that Samuel was bc1806 Cheshire, and his wife Mary bc 1806 also Cheshire. From 1841 census first child Margaret bc 1828 Cheshire, then Richard bc1832 cheshire, Mary bc 1836 cheshire, and my direct ancestor John Threlfall bc 1830, stated on subsequent census as born Budworth. He actually married in Manchester 1854. All I have re birth place is Cheshire for Samuel and Mary. Hope you can help, thanks very much.

Wybunbury parish records are online at: http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/ and are complete up to c1870 so you can probably eliminate it.

There is this marriage that might be connected, but nothing else on the index:

Hi, if possible I would also like help with the marriage of Joseph Mellor and Elizabeth m1833 Bunbury. Joseph bc 1815 Bickley and Elizabeth bc 1811 Peckforton, Cheshire. I would like to know her surname and any other possible information if available. (I take it that the names underneath your reply refer to names in your tree? Do you have any of the family on other census records apart from 1841?  If you have John on the 1851 do you have the census reference?
