Cheshire Parish Records Marriages only pre 1837

Can someone possibly see the Parish records for Barthomley
18th May 1788 - William Owen (Gt Gt Gt grandfather)   baptism   does it say who the parents are ?
                                                                                           hopefully John Owen and Sarah Walker

 year 1749 long shot as no month or day  John Owen   baptism  does it say who the parents are ?

and being very cheeky (if available...though more concerned with above)

My gt gt gt grandfather William Owen born 1788, married Mary Dykes in Barthomley, Cheshire 30/12/1813. Can you posibly check to see if there are any parent names on the marriage register ?

My gt gt gt gt grandfather John Owen married Sarak Walker at Barthomley, Cheshire 23/10/1774. Can you possibly check to see if there are any parent names on the marriage register ?

Hi David,

The baptism for William Owen 18 May 1788 at Barthomley is on the IGI (www.familysearch.org) and gives the parents as John Owen and Sarah Walker

Although the baptism of John in 1749 is also on IGI there are no details.  You might be better to post a separate topic to request a parish register lookup on the Lookup Request Board (as this one is for marriages! 

The marriage lookups on this board are usually done from an index so won't give any more information than you already have.  You will be lucky to find parents names on the register, but you may find some useful information from the witnesses.  As you have the exact marriage dates you might be better to email the Cheshire Records Office and ask them to supply you with the details - for a small fee they will send you a photocopy.

I was hoping to find a marriage date for Thomas Later married Martha (Unknown)
Possibly Bowden abt 1828.

Thomas was born c 1802 and died 1839 in Bowdon Martha born C1802 and died Bowdon 1886

Hope that is enough information get a result.

Please could you have a look for a marriage of Joseph Cowdell abt 1760s/70s
His son Enoch was born 1797 Stockport and baptised at St Mary's
l think he may be the only Cowdell

Can someone please help with a marriage record for Robert Calveley (Calvely) born Storeton about 1805. Looked on the university Cheshire parish records site but cannot find it. Robert married Mary (born 1806 in Bromborough) about 1825.

I have the records from Cheshire for the birth of Robert and Mary's 10 children in Bromborough between 1826 and 1844 and death record for Robert in 1874 (he was living in Tranmere at the time).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Lan-OPC has that marriage listed too.

It gives Robert's occupation as cordwainer & they were married by Banns.
