Hi Peter,
I dont know whether John and Anne came from another parish. On IGI there are two children baptised Halton 1791/3 parents John Jackson/Anne,then from 1805-1813 there are 4 more including my William, the one born in 1805 Esther is probably sister to William.Esther married Jeremiah Percival in Manchester in 1826,but in the 1830's they had children baptised at Halton. On 1881 census William's daughter Martha is staying with Esther Percival in Widnes.
    Regards,
       John

Hi Jackie
Never be afraid to ask, its no problem, in the case of Peter Wakefield and Mary my indexes are not showing a marriage anywhere in Cheshire, If they had married in the Odd Rode Hall Green area the parish Church would be Astbury St Mary, these records are kept at Chester RO.

sorry cant help this time
