Hi there,
I have just read your posting from March 2006 re Charles Case.  My GG Grandmother was Maria Case who was Charles Case's older sister.  I have the parish records for Letcombe Bassett on cd .  They show the first mention of the Case family in Letcombe with the birth of George Case the first of 8 children of Thomas and Elizabeth amongst whom was William father of Charles and Maria.

I was wondering if you have any information on Thomas and Elizabeth as I seem to have to have ground to a halt.  Elizabeth was born in Black Bourton, Oxon, but I don't know her birth surname or where Thomas came from originally.

Can you help?

Chris.
