Hi Katie,

Welcome to rootschat  :D

I'm sorry to say :P your first step should be to get hold of the marriage cert between Thomas and Katherine to make sure who their fathers were, especially as Turner and Marshall are not exactly exotic names.

However, I can see a possible Kate in 1901:
RG13/4474 21 34
Hessle, Yorkshire

Clarkes Gardens (Cow Lane)
Jesse J Marshall, head, 40, Roadman, b. Hessle
Fannie, wife, 38, b. Barnetby?
Ethel N, dau, 14, Milk carrying, b. Hull
Kate, dau, 12, b. Hessle
Libby, dau, 8, b. do.
Maggie, dau, 7, b. do.
May, dau, 4, b. do.
Fannie, dau, 4 ms, b. do.

Do these names ring any bells by any chance?

Found on Yorkshire BMD http://www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk/

Marriage 1914
Kathleen Marshall - Thomas W Turner
St Barnabas Hull

Is this a coincidence or could she have been Kathleen in fact?

On the same site, I can't see a birth for a matching Kathleen though  :-\
BUT there are 2 births for Kate Marshall's at Hessle (in 1887 and 1888).
