Trying to locate my Grandmother Mary Broadbent (nee Clark/e's) mother.  I think I have found the birth record in 1914 showing a Mary Clark born to a Annie Haystead in the Driffield registration district.  I know that Mary was born in Kirby Grindalythe on 18.01.14.  I have found Annie in the 1901 census working at the vicarage in Kirby Grindalythe.

I can find no record of her before this.  She was born c1882 in Langton, Yorkshire.  Mary's father was a Frederick Clark & the most likely match I have come across was born in 1883 in Lartington.  Frederick was an agricultural worker.  I can find no record of their marriage or Annie's death (she died young).

Hi Annie was my Great Grand mother she married John William Taylor
it was her sister Martha that married Frederick Clark.
They lived at Fridaythorpe.

I live in Driffield not far from there.
I know a Granddaughter of 1 of the other sisters and
I have met the grandson of another.

I do have some more info if you need it.

Carol.
