Do you know the occupation of Thomas? Could he have been a Chemist and druggist aged 55?

the one you posted am i correct in saying it states married but with no wife with him?

thanks

Hi Mark

From my experience, the term Commercial Traveller often implied the person was a minister/preacher of some kind, most likely part of the methodist faith.

Hope this helps
