Does anyone know if there is an on-line transcription of South Brent ( Brent Knoll ) parish records ? I think it's St. Michael's.

Jules 1, Like you I need records for Henstridge, Somerset, but so far the only places I have found them are at the Somerset Record Office, and at the LDS local research centre, unless someone knows more than I do.

Hi Jules try this ,google somerset pr transcripts on line then once you are through click H then click Patricia Westwood and there are some records available.
As for Shepton Mallet follow the same route but click on S.

Tried the Patricia Westwood link for Henstridge, but unfortunately have exhausted its contents. Any further ideas please, also for the small villages around Sherborne, Oborne etc. which though in another county is within a very short distance geographically, as indeed is Wincanton.

Hi this will require you to join the group but then you can access their parish records, its all free by the way.
Google yahoo groups dorset family history and then click on dorsom families, I havnt used them my self but belong to the Somerset yahoo groups. If the records are not available  you can post a look up as the moderator usually has access to them.
