« on: Wednesday 01 March 06 15:20 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for details of the Chalkley Family who lived in and around Bethnal Green/Hackney/Tottenham areas in the 19th Century

I have 200+ names but lots of loose ends

Is anyone else tracing them

I am looking for a G Chalkley who live at Blackthorne Drive, E4 in 1945.  He was a POW with my grandfather from 1942 - 1945.  My grandfather was killed but Mr Chalkley lived and wrote to my grandmother and sent some personal effects.

I would dearly love to find some relative that may have heard about the friendship he had with my grandfather.

Please do write back if you have any information.

Thank you  :D

Best regards

Jen
