Jane Fish (Godbold) B1821, Married William Fish in Aldeby 1845.

Over several census returns Jane is recorded as being born at Aldeby, Haddiscoe and Toft Monks.

Hi,
Their was a baptism for a Jane Gorbel in Aldeby
25th Feb 1821 parents Robert & Rhoda,
fathers occupation Labourer and Rhoda's maiden
name Smith.
May be yours but spelt diffrent,

Thanks. I guess the only way to solve this is as to whether Jane is a Godbold or a Gorbel is to order a marriage cert for William and Jane and see what that gives me.

It was definitely Godbold on the GRO index so that will be the surname on the marriage cert
