Hi Kathy

Although census were taken from 1801 onwards - non before 1841 are of much use to family historians as they are just head counts - 'statistics' is a better word.

The 1841 does give personal names, ages and occupations - but is of limited use to us.

The 1851 starts to give us more information such as place of birth which is very important when trying to find an ancestor.

Now, where do you post your requests - If you know what county they lived in at the time of the census - go to that board where you wiull see a 'census lookup request' and post you message / lookup there.
