Hi Sylviao,
I've just tracked down a Surrey newspaper for 1843.  You need to go to the British Library website (just type in British Library on your search engine) and check the names & dates for the Surrey newspapers.  The newspapers covered counties so they were not specific to a locality.  Once you've found what you want it will take a personal visit unfortunately to search the paper.

Hi Taranic

Welcome to Rootschat

Unfortunately sylviao was last on Rootschat on Saturday 16 February 08 so probably won't see your post. I could try sending her a personal message (pm) for you which creates an email notification. Would you like me to do that? If you prefer you could do it yourself once you have posted three times. After three posts you can send and receive pms.

Regards
