They match the Wallers I do have but thought they may be more.   ???

Is your CD indexed or is it a manual look through?

Hello Damien

I have a lot of Waller folk in my family tree all from Alfreton & Swanwick. Are you looking for anyone in particular?  If you could give me a few details or at least a name as a starting point I may be able to help you.

Cheers Jents

Hello Damian

Sorry I was in a rush yesterday. just started to email you when visitors arrived.

Anyway here I am now....Lets see....

As I said yesterday Eliza Waller was my Great Great Grandma she married George Gregory. Their daughter Mary Jane married Walter Gagen (my Great Grandparents) and Mary & Walters son James Gagen is my Grandad.

I have alot of information on my family tree on Genes Reunited. If there is any info you need I go back with the Waller Clan to William Waller & Mary Bowler. Also have siblings etc of most of the family

I heard a story only yesterday from an elderly aunt but haven't had chance to prove it yet...I heard that Eliza Waller died due to burns...apparently she was in bed when it caught fire and suffered burns which led to her death. Also that George (Gregory) was a compulsive gambler and accumalated vast debts. He committed suicide in a house in Aughton Yorkshire. He hung himself in the toilet in the back yard. As I say not proven yet, but interesting.

Yes please I would love any photo's of the Waller family. I have only one of Eliza, one of Horatio (Eliza's brother) and the marriage certificate of Eliza & George which I will send on to you.

Lovely to chat with you Damian hope we can keep in touch.

Love Jenny
