I'm interested in finding more info on the following members of my family:
James BURGESS b.1805 Blithfield, Staffordshire
He lived most of his life in Middlesex & London before returning to Newton, Staffs as a farmer in his old age.
Wife: Sarah Elizabeth (nee?) b.1804 in Barnes, Surrey
Their children:
Mary Ann b.1835, Middlesex
Lewis Charles b. 1836, Middx
Emma E b.1838, Lambeth
Edwin Henry b. 1841, Lambeth (my grt grt grandfather)
Maria Jane b. 1843, Lambeth
Edwin went on to marry Eliza OSBORN b.1839, Limehouse, Middx
Their children:
Isabel Emma b.1864, Middx
Eliza C b.1866, Middx
Helen Maria b.1867, Essex
Annie Louise b.1870, Essex
Charles Walter b.1874, Essex (my grt grandfather)
Charles Walter married Ellen RADFORD b. 1880 approx. (Derbyshire?)
Their only known child:
Norman b.1909, Romford, Essex
Any info on the above people would be gratefully received! I have traced many of them whilst living as a family but once they leave home I lose them (especially the females, for obvious reasons). I have James BURGESS back to the 1851 census but can get back no further.
