Medcalf of Gainsborough

Looking for any Medcalfs from Gainsborough in the late 1700's. May have a link with my Medcalf family from Ware Hertfordshire. Benjamin, Thomas and Joseph are names I have.

Hi Anita,

Thanks for the reply, and yes I have. Those messages relate to my family that came from Ware. It's just that we are desperately trying to find the where abouts of our 3xgreat grandfather. We can find no link at all anywhere, except that a family of Medcalfs that lived in Gainsborough in the late 1700's sort of fit. Sort of. The dates and the names of the family members all seem to be correct that would link them to the Ware lot. Except, they spell their name with a "T" not a "D". Just wondered if there was anyone in that area that might have some info.
Thanks again for the message, it all helps,

Zimmer
