I'm researching for a friend. Her great Grandparents are Andrew Cairns and Mary Jane Heaney. Andrew married Mary Jane in 1893 in Queensland, Australia
Children found so far - Annie, Andrew, Margaret, William and James. So far nothing else known about Mary Jane but Andrew I found in later years on the Electrol Roll in Ryde, Sydney and then a death in 1934. It was thought he was born in Scotland. Did find an Andrew Cairns on a passenger list into Townsville QLD at age 18. Have my fingers crossed this is the Andrew mentioned in your message and you may be able to head me in the right direction.
