Martley Records Lookup Please - Turley

Hi,

Can any one help me find the following in the Parish Records for the Church of Martley.

Edward Turley
Christening - c 1780
Burial - 1845

Mary Turley
Burial - 1864

Mary Turley
Christening - c 1811
Daughter of Edward 7 Mary

Hi!

Edward Turley was buried on 23rd May 1845, aged 65, at Martley St. Peter. His abode is given as Scarr.

There is also this entry which might relate to his wife...

Mary Turley was buried on 7th Dec 1864, aged 81, at Knightwick St.Mary. Her abode is given as Gold Hill.

Hi  In researching my Turley's in Blakeney Hill, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Edward Turley is noted in his marriage as coming from Martley, Worchestershire.  Google Forest of Dean and there is a data base on parish transcripts.  An excellent site that is free and may be of use to you.

I think Edward may be connected to the other Turley families in Blakeney Hill. They were masons by occupation and had large families.

How do you know that Edward Turley stats that he is from Martley on his marriage? I have not yet been able to get hold of the records for his marriage yet.

As for the Forest of Dean connection, Edward does not origonaly come from Martley, so he may have been from Gloucestershire. Unfortunatly he died before the 1851 Census, so I have no clue to where he comes from.

I googled Forest of Dean, and came accross a family history site, but I am unshure it is the right one. Do you have a address for the site?

Hi the site http://members.forest-of-dean.net/pages/home.php. - you will need to register and I have been involved in some of the transcribing. I have located lots of links on this site good luck.
Apologies I have just double checked it was James Turley born approx 1783 as married in 1803 aged 20 year place of birth given as Martley Worcestershire. The Turley's seem to be inter related but as yet I have not managed to connect my Thomas Turley with This James and Edward Turley.
