i am mainly looking at 1830 onwards i have found the rabbits in all census bar the 1851, no idea where they were then, i have however traced them back to the mid 1700's and found a few contacts along the way.

i am stuck with my gtgt grandmothers husband, Alfred Parfitt, not been able to find him anywhere! they were married in 1914 in shepton mallett, her maiden name was rabbits and she was b c 1870

Hi Bev,

There are plenty of RABBITS/RABBITTS, plus a couple of other spellings, in Somerset for the 1851 census.

thanks for the info, i think some of those are mine (i will have to check my data) but my main family i.e James & Ann Rabbitts with son Henry c 15 yrs old & son Mark c 9 yrs old
dau Hannah c 7 yrs old and louisa bap 25/5/1851 are not there!
