Hi Alex,thankyou for getting in touch with me.My line starts with Jessie Lammie,born in Kirkconnell in 1877,she married William Young at Hillend Kirkconnell 7th October 1898,the witnesses to their marriage were Robert Young and Isabella Lammie,i also have the 1901 census for Luger Auchenleck where Jessie,william and their daughter[my grandmother] Jean Wilson Young were living.they were my Grt Grandparents on my fathers side.Jessies parents were George Lammie and Jane Wilson.George Lammie was born 1849 at Kirkconnell,i think he had these brothers Robert born 1845 Kirkconnell and William born 1847,not sure where.Georges parents were David Lammie and Mary Cowan[i think],i am not sure if i have the right wife first.,it could be Jane Gall his 2nd wife he married her 17th November 1853 at Sanquer,Jane was born in 1808 in Sorn i have no idea who her parents are.I have no death details for any of them except my Grandmother Jean Wilson Young.George Lammies wife Jane Wilsons parents were Thomas Wilson and Ann Maxwell,Jane had 6 sisters and no brothers.Nice to know you live in Girvan my dad and his brothers and sisters were born in Girvan and lived there all there lives,some still do except for my dad he moved away when he met mam and lives just over the border in Shilbottle,i live in Amble a couple of miles from them.Anyway Alex nice talking to you and i hope to hear from you again soon,i have a few census records for the Lammie family if you want them,if you dont mind i would love to have any info on their deaths.Thankyou again for getting in touch Anne.

DAVID LAMMIE HAD A SON WHO DIED IN LONDON (THIS IS NOT TO CLEAR ON THE PHOTO)
DAVIDS SON ROBERT MARRIED JANE MCGAVIN THEY HAD THREE SONS  I HAVE THEM TRACED TO THE PRESENT, BUT THIS DOES NOT APPPEAR TO BE YOUR FAMILY.

TO THEIR SON WHO DIED IN LONDON AGE 22 ON THE 30/1/1872
HIS WIFE JANE GALL WHO DIED 9/7/1894 AGE 88 ALSO THE ABOVE DAVID LAMMIE WHO DIED 10/4/1898 (THE REST IS UNREADABLE BUT I THINK IT WENT ON TO SAY WHERE HE DIED.

FROM WHICH I QUOTE;
ERECTED BY DAVID LAMMIE IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROBERT LAMMIE HIS FATHER, BORN 5/MARCH/1844,
 DIED 24 APRIL 1914 AT HILLEND NEW CUMNOCK,
JANE MCGAVIN HIS MOTHER BORN 28 AUGUST 1843 DIED 8 JAN. 1928.
JANET H. CAMERON HIS WIFE(DAVID) BORN2 AUGUST 1884 DIED 8 SEPTEMBER 1946
(NO MENTION OF DAVID)
DAVID AND JANET HAD CONSTANCE AND IRENE,
CONSTANCE HAD DAVID (B.1952) AND SHIRLEY (B.1957)
IRENE HAD HUGH AND DAVID.
THERE IS MORE DETAILS WHICH I WILL SCAN AND SEND IN THE FUTURE,
SO MANY NAMES THE SAME BUT WE SHOULD WORK IT OUT
