hi kathie,just wondered if 'islandbridge'
is the only info regards place of birth
there is one part of islandbridge called
'sarah place' which has blocks of flats
built on it now but in earlier times there was
an older building or or buildings set out in' rooms'
i have a brother in law born and brought up
there and if you think it might help can ask him
if he has any more details about the place,
i also remember him mention a place there
called 'flag alley'
                              regards anne

hi kathie,
i will ask for you over the next day or so,
meanwhile if they lived in patrick st around the time of a marriage or baptism then the most likely church to check would be st.nicholas of myra church in francis street in dublin 8 which is just around the corner
from patrick st.i got my grandparents marriage cert there ,although one half of the couple lived in francis st before marriage and the other in mercer st. they lived in patrick st after the marriage and their first sons
baptism also took place in the same church.be in touch soon.
                                                         regards anne
