                                        Boatman or Railwayman
and wife ELLEN/HELEN age 25, b. Stoke Staffs
and daughter ELIZABETH age 7, b. Long Buckby, Northants

possibly in Long Buckby area?

I can't find them on Alan Clarke's 1841 census transcription CD.

After all this long time, I believe I have found them under the name BURTON,
William 30
Ellen     25     Staffordshire
Elizabeth  6
Lucy 1 mnth   Staffordshire
in Wharf Street, Stoke upon Trent, Shelton.
I cannot decipher William's occupation but I think it begins "Boats......

Thanks Wozzle.  I did know it, but not the fact that it was C of E.  We learn a little more every time.
