INNES painter - 1960's? Derby?, Nottingham?, Wirksworth?

...I'd like some info on a painter, "C INNES", oil on canvas landscape ca "1960's", framed at Opus in Nottingham, supposedly originated in Derby. I have not received it yet.
I'm assuming that this was not a career artist as there is no info available online, and only a couple of pieces are referenced.
There is an Innes family in 1901 Census Wirksworth which has an 8m old son (or 8 year, can't remember now)  Cosins Edward Innes...
Any ideas, anyone?

Yes thanks, that's where I started. Sadly that's about all there is at that site for Innes'.
It's not so easy to find recent folks, especially with only a first initial.
I think I'll have to hit the phone book for this, and cold call the Innes' I can find in the area.
