Thx for the reply again, there is so many helpful members on this site. I did end up finding the passenger list from FindMyPast with a bit of luck, I originally posted this looking for my grandparents coming from Ireland, i just assumed at the time they left Ireland. always learning lol

Hi there
I just came across this website after weeks of looking for information about the Cunard White Star Ascania that arrived in Halifax 1948.
My father, mother and sister were on that ship. Any information would be greatly received. They were coming from Norway.
I will check out some of the suggestions listed!

twolastnames - where did you find the passenger list for the Ascania? I would like to know if my parents Ingar and Eloise Karlsen were on that ship - 1948 Halifax.

I found them on "find my past " website , I printed the page that they were on
If you pm me there names I will see if we get lucky and they are on the page that I printed

Would you be able to send me a copy of the arrival passenger list.  I've been looking for it for ages.  My grandparents and aunts and uncles came over to Canada from England on that ship.
