Yes I have that information, but thank you for trying. Did many people have second names back then? I haven't seen much evidence of it.

Donald died on 13 Jan 1885 and was 54 at the time. I'm inclined to believe this date because he was more likely to 'fib' on his marriage license because he appears to be 10 years older than his wife. So by your theory, he could be Thomas Donald, born 22 Jan 1831. the dates certainly are perfect.

A scottish tradition was often to pass on the surname of the mother as a
middle name for the boy or girl...and of course the religion...Notice that the
last child born had a middle name...wonder if it's an ancestral clue, or just
a whim of the moment... One never knows...
  It is not unusual to not have every name in the family listed on the I.G.I.
nor is it unusual that a child be born every year as we allknow it's possible...
just throwing out a ball to see if anyone catches it...  good luck with that...
