My friend would like to know whether her family can be found on the 1901 census - probably Soham
Florence Violet MURFETT was born 1889 prob in Soham.
Father was a farmer, publican & coal merchant. Prob came from the area. There was an older sister know Dorrie. Mother had been in service.
CAn anyone find her please?
TIA

That dad was a Furrier in 1901, though
Cold Dorrie be Evelyn Doris b. 1894 Sudbury - if so this has to be the correct family

On the 1901 there is a Robert (47, Ag Lab) and Selina Murfett (46) both born in Soham, Cambs.,
"same page", no kids !
and they are also on the 1881, but no kids !
Bob
ps Census place, both times = Soham, Cambs.

Still looks more like Furrier to me - he dabbled in everything by the look of it. Think Evelyn Doris looks interesting, though

You're getting me confused - they are living on a 'farm' - doesn't his occupation look just the same as the 'Farm' in the address?
