Hall of Andover
« on: Thursday 09 February 06 20:30 GMT (UK) »
Is anyone interested in the Hall family of Andover in the C18th? The main Christian name appears to be Roger.
Associated surnames are: Collis, Child and Lane

Hello - I am looking for all possible links to 1800's Hampshire/Surrey Collis families. Henry and Eliza Collis were my great-grandparents, thier son Willliam married Daisy Savage. William was Superintendent of Surrey Constabulary 1930's-1950's. They had one son - Derek. Hope this could link to you enquiry. Thanks.

I think there may be a bit of a time gap between the Collis family I was interested in, especially a John Collis who married a widow Mary Child in Andover in the 1730s, and your family.
