Once you have the age from the marriage certificate then you can look for a baptism in Stokesley and area at about the right time. Did she have siblings? If so you can look them up and then write to the local register office and ask them to look for a female birth to the same parents in that year.
Try doing a blanket search in 1901 for all Lowthers in that area and see who comes up.
