Tiverton Photo's?

Could I possibly ask if anyone lives locally or happens to be passing through, whether they could make a photo stop at St Peters Church?

I have the following text extract:
"Richard Down’s wife Agnes Donne, originally of Honiton, was buried in St. Peter’s Church, Tiverton in 1775 and he himself in 1792 and there is an armorial monument to their memory, and to that of their daughter, Mrs Ann Owen, on the north side of the tower arch."

I would be most grateful if somebody could oblige and send me photos of the monuments, and, if they are still there, the graves?

I have taken the Photo you require, in fact two.
There is no sign of Ann Owen but a lot are under carpet in the floor.
I will try to find out if a list of tomb stones is available as most are unreadable outside the Church.
At the moment the photo file is too large to attach with this text. Will find another way
Are you aware of George Welch Owen on the 1851 & 1861 Census of Tiverton? (Rector)

thanks so much for your effort. Strange about Ann Owens memorial - perhaps its fallen into disrepair and has been removed. Who knows?

I'll PM you my email addy, you can send me the photos that way.

As yet I've not found out anything else about Ann Owen - I was hoping her memorial would give me a bit more info :-(

Please find attachment for 2nd photo

There is a list of graves in an old book but no mention of Ann Owen. A number of grave stones within the Church are covered by carpet. Also the slabs to the right of the North Tower look as though they may have been replaced sometime.

There should be 1 Owen outside but I did'nt see that yesterday. They are rather worn.

I've just had a thought - perhaps Ann is buried elsewhere, and her parents or brother put the memorial in the church?
