Hi

Im am new to the roots chat.

Hi m4uke

Welcome to Rootschat. We will try to be of help to you. Torpoint does have an Online Parish Clerk who may be able to help you with particular queries. Looks like the IGI isn't going to be much help.

This may or maynot be of help.
John Bastard and Elizabeth Uren had a son John b 29. 8. 1784 Crowan, who married Jane Holman on 21. 5. 1809 Crowan, went to America and changed his name to Bastian. He died 28. 4. 1868 and was buried at Galena Illinois USA

Hi Organicgardener

I have not got that far back yet although John seems to be a name that follows through the whole family

The last John I have is around 1790 - 1800 who married someone named Ann

have you any info on that line

Thanks

Muke

Hi M4uke,
The line I have is only by association with the Holman famil and know verry little else.
Good luck with your search
