Hi Greg
I don't think we would have a connection.
Mine is John Walton b abt 1807 in Chester-Le-Street parents unknown at this stage.
John married an Ann Bullerwell in 1830 in Bishopwearmouth & ended up in Sherburn.

Hi, ;D

There are a couple of possibles for your John WALTON

John WALTON born 19th Sept 1806
                      bapt   4th Jan 1807

Parents: John Walton of Chester,  a Mason of Chester, & his wife Jane TAYLOR of Birkley, Yorkshire.

John WALTON born 24th Nov 1807
                       bapt 27th Nov 1807

Parents are; John WALTON of  Tuizel, Tailor of Bannistor, Yorkshire & his wife Margaret BIRTLEY of Pelton.

The TUIZEL is a bit of a worry, I can't find any such place.
Hope you get a lead out of one of them.

Cheers
Geoff

Hi
I am not sure if we have a connection. I don't seem to have a John born Abt 1852.
All my Walton lines seem to be around the Sherburn, Newbottle & St.Giles area.
 Thank you

Hi Karen
           I don't think we have a connection.
As far as I know my Jonathan Wilkinson was born abt 1828 in Houghton Le Spring to  Jonathon Wilkinson & possibly a Charlotte King.

Cheers

Hi fataussie,

my great great grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Bullerwell, born in Medomsley, Co. Durham circa 1850's.

Mary arrived in Australia in the 1870's with her family & her future husband, Thomas Hunter Turnbull.

Does any of this sound familiar at all?
